The 150 seat "Officer's Club" Bar/Restaurant opened in March 2002 and is located in the middle of the resort on the bank of a permanent fresh water stream and waterfall overlooking the main, 90m white sand beach. The restaurant is reputedly located on the site of the American Officers’ Club from WWII where, legend has it, the American Officers created the water fall and plunge pool using hand grenades!
Daytime guests enjoy full use of facilities with magical views across Hideaway Island to Port Vila or may join the evening crowd to experience the afterglow from sunset over the escarpment and moonrise over picturesque Mele Bay.
